A Bit of Background. A few words from our President and founder on how it all started:

 "Hello! My name is Dasha Jamison. 
And I am happy to greet you at Red Rock Pastel Society Of Nevada!
Almost 4 years ago I fall in love with a medium of pastel. 

I have been enjoying learning about the medium through the Pastel Societies and workshops and lessons including Richard McKinley,  Olga Abramova, Marsha Savage, and Linda Mutti. 

Upon relocating to Nevada I was surprised to find out that there was not a Pastel Society located anywhere within the state.

As an artist, I understand the importance of fellowship to grow not just my skill but an exchange of creative energy with others from beginners to advanced to grow our talents as well as nurture our drive. I  truly believe it is the key to my growth in the pieces I learned and was inspired by others to thrive. So...we decided to start the RED ROCK PASTEL SOCIETY OF NEVADA. By becoming a member with us you will also become a member of IAPS member society( International Association of Pastel Societies) and join members of all ages...

accomplishments...and skillsets.

As an individual, you can be a member of pastel society, and pastel society is joining IAPS as countries join UNESCO.
